An inter-generation project with Dance-Theater Bielefeld and Royston Maldoom.

On May 20th and 21st, 2007 the Dance Theater Bielefeld brought an extraordinary dance project onto the stage of the Stadttheater Bielefeld. Members of the professional dance company developed and presented their own choreography with 120 dance interested members of the community between 7 and 70 years of age to the music of Vivaldi and Piazollas Four Seasons, in cooperation with ten dancers of the Dance-Theater Bielefeld. Children, young adults, teachers and seniors discovered their own ways of expressing the themes Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter and created their own contemporary dance performance under the artistic leadership of the head-choreographer in Bielefeld, Gregor Zöllig. Royston Maldoom supported this dance project in Bielefeld with advice during the pre-arrangement and final rehearsals. Together with the members of all four generations he created choreographed links between the individual group dances, combining them to present a unified evening.
